DCVI Swimmers at Huron-Perth Championships

Amazing results were achieved by the small but mighty Saluki Swim team at the Huron-Perth Conference Championships in St. Marys on Tuesday.

Eric Lagace won first place in Senior Boys 200m freestyle and also in the highly competitive Senior Boys 100m freestyle, qualifying him for WOSSA in both events.

Ethan Jantzi took first in the Open 200m IM and also in the Open 100m breaststroke. Ethan battled hard to come second by 4 one hundredths of a second in the Open 100m freestyle. Ethan qualified for WOSSA in all his events.

Victoria Jeffrey improved her time immensely in the Senior girls 50 freestyle and posted personal best in 100m freestyle.

Ally Donaldson took 5th in the Junior girls 50m butterfly and improved her times in all her events.

The swimmers worked hard and are looking forward to WOSSA in February.
