Human trafficking and women’s rights are two issues that have been being tackled for years.
Did you know that 70% of human trafficking victims are women?
Lowering that percentage is going to take a lot of awareness and a lot of strength.
DCVI students, this is a challenge that anyone can take on.
You can spread awareness by participating in ‘Dressember’.
Dressember takes place for the entire month of December. Women and girls everywhere can participate by wearing a dress everyday for the entire month. The dress symbolizes the strength women have. Males can also participate by dressing up in formal attire of their choice.
Want to learn more? You can check out the official Dressember website at Dressember.org .
You can make a change for women and girls everywhere by wearing a dress.
It’s a simple act that speaks volumes.
