Baseball The baseball team went to their first games of the year yesterday. Against St. Mikes it took a little while to get the bats going. We were kept in the game with a stellar pitching performance. The bats finally woke up led by one player, scoring 2 runs and getting on base in 3 of his 4 plate appearances. The pitcher pitched a complete game and secured the 8-2 win for DCVI. In our second game of the day against St Annes, the bats woke up much quicker. Led by another player’s strong game at the plate going 3 for 3 with a walk, the boys jumped out to an early lead scoring 7 runs in the 4th inning. It ended in a strong win, beating St Annes 8-2. Great playing to the whole team!
